About the Opportunity:
Our client, a growing and flexible public accounting firm, is seeking a
Tax Manager
to join their team. This role is ideal for a CPA with experience managing diverse tax engagements who values work-life balance and career growth. Responsibilities: Prepare and review complex tax returns for individuals, businesses, trusts, and nonprofits
Conduct client interviews and develop tax planning strategies
Manage multiple client engagements and deadlines
Review work prepared by staff and provide mentorship
Perform tax research and communicate findings
Collaborate with Client Services to support clients' full accounting needs
Build and maintain strong client relationships
Qualifications: CPA required
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
5+ years of public accounting experience
Proficiency in tax preparation software (CCH ProSystem fx or CCH Axcess preferred)
Strong communication, time management, and organizational skills
Detail-oriented and able to manage multiple priorities
Compensation & Benefits: Overtime (paid at time-and-a-half)
