Overview
Established, multi-state real estate and creditors' rights law firm seeking a qualified attorney to support our Alabama practice. This position offers a competitive salary and benefits package based on experience.
Responsibilities
Manage a significant volume of cases in the field of creditor's rights.
Appear in court as required and travel as needed.
Provide superior client support and assist in growing the firm’s presence as a top-performing firm.
Apply discovery practice, depositions, and conflict resolution skills.
Collaborate with clients and colleagues to build relationships and be viewed as a trusted partner.
Qualifications
Member in good standing of the Alabama state Bar; licensed (or able to obtain in short order) in the Alabama federal district and bankruptcy courts.
8+ years of mortgage foreclosure and collections experience.
Experience with appellate work and knowledge of TILA, RESPA, FDCPA, and the Bankruptcy Code preferred.
Strong leadership, written and verbal communication skills; willingness to help grow the firm's presence.
Commitment to superior client support and unfettered judgment; ability to develop industry relationships.
Familiarity with the Alabama state legal system.
License/Certification: Bar License in AL (Required); multiple licenses a plus.
