Overview The Assistant Store Manager is responsible for establishing and maintaining Guest Services. The Assistant Manager supports the Store Manager in the overall operation of the store to drive maximum sales and profitability by developing staff, controlling expenses and shrinkage, and overseeing all aspects of merchandising and inventory control in adherence with Company policies and procedures. The minimum age requirement for this role is 18. The physical demands include standing and walking for more than 8 hours, climbing ladders, and lifting up to 50 pounds. Prior retail and/or management experience is required.
Responsibilities
Establish and maintain Guest Services in the store.
Support the Store Manager with daily operations to maximize sales and profitability.
Develop staff through coaching and supervision.
Control expenses and shrinkage; manage merchandising and inventory control in line with Company policies.
Ensure compliance with all Company procedures and standards.
Qualifications
Minimum age of 18.
Prior retail and/or management experience required.
Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 pounds; climb ladders as needed.
Compensation and Benefits Hourly rate ranges from $15.00 to $15.25 and is dependent upon qualifications and experience.
