Overview
This position will oversee our Regulatory and Labeling teams while ensuring compliance with global food regulations. You will serve as the company’s primary regulatory authority, representing Client company with customers, partners, and federal agencies - all while advancing programs that support our culture of food safety, quality, and operational excellence. Responsibilities
Develop and direct corporate regulatory programs, policies, and procedures in alignment with company goals. Lead the Regulatory and Labeling Departments, overseeing all labeling functions, product certifications, and regulatory document control. Lead and develop the related regulatory and labeling staff including day-to-day operations, training, performance and all related staff management responsibilities. Monitor and communicate changing regulations from the FDA, USDA, FSMA, and international bodies - proactively adjusting internal practices. Oversee compliance with Kosher, Halal, Organic, Non-GMO Project Verification and Gluten-Free programs. Represent Client company in regulatory interactions with customers and government agencies, lead crisis management for product recalls or withdrawals. Support and train internal departments (Sales, R&D, QA, Operations, etc.) on regulatory updates and best practices. Provide executive-level reporting on regulatory strategies, departmental goals, and continuous improvement initiatives. Manage departmental budgeting, performance tracking, and technology systems including IFS, Optiva, Genesis (Trustwell), and more. Maintain other duties as assigned that support regulatory and labeling leadership. Salary: $150,000 - $180,000 Benefits Available Seniority level
