Overview
Our partners are seeking a Director of Facilities Operations to lead all facilities management functions at a 174-bed facility operating jointly with Lawrence Memorial Hospital in Melrose, MA. This role ensures safe, compliant, and efficient operations in a dynamic healthcare environment. Responsibilities
Oversee daily operations of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and utilities. Lead and manage preventative maintenance and repair programs. Hire, train, and supervise facilities staff and managers. Ensure compliance with regulatory and safety standards (e.g., Joint Commission, OSHA, NFPA). Manage budgets, contracts, and vendor relationships. Support hospital leadership in achieving performance and patient satisfaction goals. Oversee additional services such as security, laundry, grounds, or construction projects as needed. Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in facilities management, engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience). 5+ years of management experience in facilities operations, preferably healthcare. Strong background in trades (HVAC, plumbing, electrical, plant ops). Proven leadership with ability to manage multidisciplinary teams. Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Must Haves
5 years of Management and Functional experience. Proven leadership skills and ability to manage multidisciplinary teams. Strong understanding of regulatory standards (e.g., Joint Commission, OSHA, NFPA). Compensation
$120,000-$128,000 per year
