We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented
Cabinet Fabrication Shop Manager with CNC experience
to join our production team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience building custom cabinetry, operating CNC machinery, and interpreting technical drawings. This role requires a combination of craftsmanship, precision, and knowledge of modern fabrication techniques to produce high-quality cabinets and components. Responsibilities
Fabricate and assemble custom cabinets, casework, and millwork according to shop drawings and specifications. Set up, program, and operate CNC routers and related woodworking machinery to cut, shape, and drill materials. Read and interpret blueprints, CAD drawings, and cut lists. Perform accurate measurements, cuts, and joinery for precise fits and finishes. Sand, edge-band, and finish parts as required. Inspect workpieces to ensure they meet quality standards and project specifications. Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in a safe and organized manner. Collaborate with team members to meet production schedules and deadlines. Follow all company safety policies and OSHA regulations. Qualifications
3+ years of experience in cabinet fabrication, woodworking, or millwork production. Hands-on experience with CNC router operation, programming (e.g., VCarve, Cabinet Vision, or similar), and maintenance. Strong knowledge of woodworking tools, joinery techniques, and material properties (wood, laminates, veneers, etc.). Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and shop plans. Strong math, measurement, and problem-solving skills. Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods. High school diploma or equivalent (technical training a plus). Benefits
