Estate Planning and Probate Associate

A law firm seeks an Estate Planning and Probate Associate to join its Trusts and Estates practice in Seattle, WA. The ideal candidate will have significant experience in estate planning and probate administration, strong research and writing skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with a team of attorneys and staff.

Duties

Draft and review estate planning documents, including wills and trusts.

Handle probate administration and prepare estate pleadings.

Educate clients on estate planning strategies.

Advise on tax implications of estate planning and gifting strategies.

Prepare and review federal and state estate tax returns.

Research and analyze complex legal issues.

Communicate professionally with clients.

Requirements

At least four years of relevant experience.

Licensed to practice in the State of Washington.

Education

LL.M. in Tax preferred.

Certifications

Licensed to practice law in Washington State.
