Position Summary The Product Principal will lead the strategic vision, execution, and lifecycle of Stellantis Financial Services’ fintech product portfolio, with a focus on captive auto finance. This senior role requires deep expertise in financial technology, auto lending, and scaled Agile practices. You will oversee multiple product teams, drive enterprise product strategy, and deliver scalable, customer-centric solutions that align with corporate goals. Serving as the key technology liaison to business units, you will guide strategic initiatives, resolve escalations, and ensure alignment with executive leadership. As a thought leader and mentor to senior product staff, you will champion innovation, foster cross-functional collaboration, and deliver impactful solutions that advance the company’s competitive position. Essential Duties And Responsibilities
Define and execute strategic product roadmaps aligned with Stellantis Financial Services’ mission, market trends, and regulatory frameworks. Drive enterprise innovation through advanced market analysis, competitor benchmarking, and emerging technologies (AI, blockchain, open banking). Oversee end-to-end fintech product lifecycles, including loan origination, digital payments, and dealer financing ecosystems. Translate business objectives and customer needs into actionable product strategies that balance innovation, scalability, and ROI. Lead cross-functional collaboration across engineering, design, compliance, marketing, and executive leadership to deliver seamless, compliant solutions. Serve as a strategic advisor to C-suite leaders, dealership networks, and financial partners, championing product adoption and alignment. Partner with Procurement and IT to assess vendor capabilities, negotiate contracts, and ensure technical feasibility of large-scale initiatives. Mentor Senior Product Managers and Owners, cultivating leadership, accountability, and continuous product improvement. Leverage analytics and testing (e.g., KPIs, A/B testing, MVPs) to optimize product performance and enhance customer experience. Ensure regulatory compliance, mitigate cybersecurity and scaling risks, and facilitate strategic portfolio reviews and retrospectives. Qualifications And Competencies
Experience & Expertise 8+ years of product management experience, including 3+ years in a senior role leading fintech or auto finance portfolios in regulated environments. Expertise in auto finance operations (e.g., loan origination, credit decisioning, dealer financing) and emerging fintech technologies such as AI, blockchain, and cloud platforms. Proven success in driving enterprise-wide product strategies, leveraging Agile frameworks (SAFe, Scrum, Kanban) and tools (Jira, Confluence, Aha!) to deliver measurable outcomes. Strong leadership and stakeholder engagement skills, with a track record of influencing executive leadership and mentoring senior product teams. Education Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred. Skills Strategic Product Leadership: Define and communicate transformative product visions aligned with enterprise goals, market trends, and regulatory frameworks. Portfolio & Prioritization Expertise: Manage complex product portfolios using prioritization frameworks (e.g., RICE, Value vs. Effort) to drive high-impact decisions. Customer-Centric & Outcome-Driven: Focus on solving customer problems through research, empathy, and iterative design with measurable business results. Scaled Agile & Cross-Functional Execution: Enterprise Agile (SAFe, LeSS) and cross-functional orchestration across engineering, compliance, and marketing. Data & Technical Acumen: Proficient in analytics (SQL, Tableau, Power BI) and fintech architectures (APIs, cloud, microservices). Executive Influence & Organizational Change: Influencing C-suite stakeholders, leading change management, mentoring senior talent, fostering innovation. Qualifications Preferred Industry and Domain Expertise Deep understanding of consumer and dealer payment flows, including ACH, card processing, digital wallets, and loan servicing platforms. Familiarity with auto finance regulations, compliance, and risk management in digital payments. Leadership & Collaboration Experience leading cross-functional teams including engineering, design, operations, and compliance. Ability to influence and communicate effectively with senior stakeholders and executive leadership. Technical Acumen Understanding of API integrations, payment gateways, real-time transaction processing. Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and tools like JIRA, Confluence, or Azure DevOps. Ability to translate business needs into technical requirements and lead technical feasibility discussions. Work Environment Overtime as needed; Travel 0-10% as required.
