Overview

Senior Quality Manager: Life Sciences – Wilmington, Delaware / Conshohocken, PA (Req 30347). Onsite role in the Wilmington, Delaware area. Responsibilities

Communicate field quality issues to appropriate stakeholders. Work with discipline subcontractors to ensure contractor quality plans and Inspection Test Plans (ITPs) are in place and in compliance with site-specific requirements. Lead contractor quality audits on-site and in fabrication facilities. Lead efforts to ensure ITPs and inspection and test forms (Test Packs) are understood by the contractor and construction management team, acted on, and completed in a timely fashion, with all Test Packs completed in compliance with ITPs. Assist in developing Construction Turn Over Package requirements. Provide on-site assistance, monitoring, and visual inspection of material at receipt and prior to installation. Ensure Nonconformities are captured in Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) and that approved corrective actions are implemented. Perform quality audits for work being performed by contractors and conduct system walkdowns for completeness, maintaining a punch list as needed. Maintain hands-on experience with quality assurance (QA) and quality control processes. Have previous experience leading QA/QC teams. Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in engineering or construction management, or equivalent years of experience in lieu of degree. 10+ years of experience in the Industrial Construction Field, with QA/QC experience. Ability to read and understand engineering specifications, documents, and drawings. Ability to perform quality audits for work performed by contractors. Experience with performing system walkdowns for completeness and maintaining a punch list. Hands-on experience with QA and quality control processes. Previous experience leading QA/QC teams. Proficiency in Office 365 (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.). Strong verbal and written communication skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; forward-thinking and eager to learn best practices. Life Sciences/Pharma construction experience preferred. Certified technical training is preferred. Ability to learn quickly and work effectively in multi-disciplinary teams. Please note: This position will be onsite in the Wilmington, Delaware area.
