A Brief Overview The Operations Support Director is a visionary and results driven leader who sets direction for operational excellence across the supply chain network. This role is responsible for shaping and executing operational strategy, driving continuous improvement, and embedding lean methodologies to enhance performance and scalability.
The Operations Support Director cultivates a high-performing team in delivering best-in-class support for fulfillment operations, serving as a key subject matter expert (SME) in supply chain processes. With a strong focus on people development and customer experience, this leader is also accountable for the successful execution of core infrastructure initiatives and, plays a critical role in aligning supply chain operations with business objectives.
What you will do
Strategic People Leadership: Provide leadership to a diverse team of Operations Support Mangers, Specialists, and Racking team leader. Set the strategic talent agenda by evaluating organizational capabilities, identifying future skill requirements and implementing targeted development plans that build leadership bench strength and support succession planning.
Project Management: Responsible for project planning, anticipating in-process timelines, and communicating with stakeholders. Accomplish project plans on time, within budget, while meeting all specified stakeholder requirements. Responsible for bringing the project to a successful close, creating an end-of-project report, holding project completion meetings and activities, and capturing relevant learning experiences.
Operational Execution and Standardization: Lead the development, deployment and governance of standardized processes, SOPs and best practices across the supply chain network. Identify operational inefficiencies and drive enterprise level solutions that improve performance. Establish and oversee the execution of plans that deliver critical business outcomes, ensuring alignment with strategic priorities and long-term operational goals.
Internal Collaboration and Communication: Work across organizational functions to drive results by collaborating, negotiating, and planning with key stakeholders such as logistics, fulfillment operations, and inventory planning teams to ensure projects meet established deadlines.
Customer Experience and Quality: Collaborate with Optimization leaders to build and sustain a culture that drives great, memorable, and easy customer experience for supply chain and store operations partners.
Health and Safety Ensures Federal, State, and Local regulations (e.g., OSHA, CDL, DOT and MHE) are being followed in all fulfillment centers and fulfillment warehouses Proactively identify risk behaviors and lead safety initiatives in partnership with site leadership, embedding a culture of safety and accountability across all fulfillment operations.

Education Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Engineering or related field preferred
High School Diploma or equivalent required
Experience Qualifications
10+ years Lean six sigma and continuous improvement results through leading a team
4-6 years Supply chain leadership experience. Black Belt required. (OCM) Org Change Management required
1-3 years Koerber experience, or equivalent WMS and LMS/WFM system experience
1-3 years Developing ROI’s and Business cases for submission and approval
