Overview
The Tower Theatre Foundation, a nonprofit 501(c)3 organization, owns and operates the historic 455-seat Tower Theatre in Bend, Oregon. The foundation aims to be the region's leading performing arts organization, offering diverse and high-quality cultural and educational programs while preserving the venue and respecting donors, patrons, performers, and the community.
Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role located in Bend, OR. The Director of Finance & Administration is a key member of the Tower Theatre Foundation leadership team and a trusted partner to the Executive Director. This hands-on leader is responsible for the overall financial health of the theatre, and will strengthen financial systems, business planning, human resources, administration, and IT while coaching and developing staff to build organizational capacity and support program growth.
Responsibilities
Oversee financial health and stability of the theatre and related programs.
Strengthen financial systems, budgeting processes, financial planning, and reporting.
Oversee human resources, administration, and information technology functions.
Coach, develop, and lead staff to build organizational capacity and support program growth.
Qualifications
Proficiency in Financial Planning and Strategic Financial Analysis.
Minimum 10 years of relevant professional experience, including at least 5 years in accounting or finance and 2 years supervising staff.
Experience in budgeting, financial statements, and financial reporting.
Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills, with a track record of mentoring and coaching direct reports and collaborating with peers.
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; or equivalent professional experience.
Excellent organizational and management skills.
Strong ethical standards and integrity.
Experience in a nonprofit organization is a plus.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
