About the Role We are looking for someone with strong attention to detail to join our team as an Associate Licensing - Title Management. In this role, you will ensure accurate and timely processing of vehicle titles, lien placements, and related documentation across multiple jurisdictions. The role is accountable for maintaining compliance with state and local requirements, preventing delays or errors that could impact clients or financial institutions, and supporting smooth fleet operations.
What You'll Do Title Processing & Documentation
Accurately process incoming and outgoing vehicle titles across multiple jurisdictions.
Verify title documentation for completeness and compliance with state and local requirements.
Ensure proper lien placements and releases are processed without errors or delays.
Research & Issue Resolution
Investigate and resolve title-related discrepancies such as missing documentation, incorrect lien details, or delayed filings.
Partner with state agencies, financial institutions, and suppliers to resolve complex title issues.
Escalate unresolved matters promptly to prevent service interruptions.
Client, Lender & Partner Communication
Communicate with clients, drivers, lenders, and internal teams to provide title status updates.
Respond to inquiries in a timely, professional manner to support client satisfaction.
Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure smooth title transfers and ownership records.
System Updates & Record Management
Update internal systems with accurate title and lien status information within defined timelines.
Maintain organized records to ensure compliance with audit and reporting standards.
Teamwork & Continuous Improvement
Share knowledge and assist team members during high-volume periods.
Support the development, review, and improvement of title management procedures.
Contribute ideas to enhance efficiency and service quality.
Basic Qualifications
Must have a minimum of a High school diploma or GED.
1-2 years of experience in administrative, operations, or vehicle title/licensing support roles required.
Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
Demonstrate superior organizational skills, the ability to handle multiple tasks and priorities, and meet deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications
2-4 year Degree in Business, BSBA preferred.
Experience in fleet management, motor vehicle services, financial institutions, or regulatory compliance environments preferred.
Prior experience working with state agencies, clients, or suppliers is a plus.
Experience with case management or registration systems preferred.
Experience in Claim Operations and Client Services Skill Set Actions preferred.
Experience in fleet management, motor vehicle services, or regulatory compliance environment preferred.
Location : Owings Mills, MD
Work Schedule : Training Period – Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM; Post-Training – Monday through Friday, 5:00 AM to 1:30 PM. Availability for both schedules is required. Training supports learning the role; post-training hours reflect team operating hours.
The base salary range for this position is $46,800-$64,400 annually. Actual compensation within this range depends on knowledge, skills, experience, equity with other team members, and market data. The disclosed salary range applies to this geographic location; pay ranges for other locations may differ.
