p>The Senior Manager, Global eCommerce & Omnichannel is Riverside’s most senior leader dedicated to digital commerce. This role owns the global eCommerce vision and strategy, with a primary focus on driving growth and performance for the Riverside brands across key US and international eCommerce platforms (Amazon, Walmart.com, Instacart, Thrive, and others). This role is responsible for identifying, developing, and scaling customer and platform-specific strategies that drive household penetration, digital shelf excellence, and omnichannel conversion. This role is both strategic and executional, serving as the internal digital commerce expert while collaborating cross-functionally to enable best-in-class shopper experiences across all digital touchpoints. This individual will lead annual planning, platform marketing, performance optimization, and customer development efforts across digital pure-play and omnichannel retail environments. An ideal fit for the role will have a strong brand-building capability while also being able to manage all aspects of the P&L in a fast-evolving channel. This is a fast-paced, high-visibility role that sits on the US Commercial Leadership Team and plays a key role in the global Commercial Strategy Team. It reports directly to the VP, US Commercial, and collaborates closely with Sales, Marketing, Consumer Insights, Supply Chain, and Finance teams. This role currently has two Chicago-based direct reports.
Primary Responsibilities
Own and evolve the global eCommerce vision for Riverside, with a focus on the US market. Lead strategic planning and performance management across digital channels to deliver GSV and NSV targets. Drive alignment with global, US, and local teams on pricing, assortment, and promotional strategies for digital. Champion Riverside’s values and brand ethos in all eCommerce executions. Deploy eCommerce marketing and other investment dollars to support growth and build brand equity.
Annual & Quarterly Planning
Lead annual operating planning (AOP) and quarterly business reviews for eCommerce. Build, maintain, and present eCommerce customer P&Ls, investment plans, and ROI models. Partner with Finance, Demand Planning, and Supply Chain to develop accurate forecasts and demand plans. Develop the right innovation pipeline to drive omnichannel sales through relevant pack sizes and assortments.
Customer & Platform Development
Build and maintain relationships with key customers (e.g., Amazon, Walmart.com, Thrive, Instacart retail partners). Develop and lead joint business planning with top eComm accounts. Own content, media, and promotional strategies in partnership with internal marketing team. Lead omnichannel strategy with major retail partners (e.g., Kroger, Target, Walmart) to ensure consistency and synergy across platforms.
Performance Optimization
Leverage tools and dashboards (Profitero, Amazon Brand Analytics, retailer portals, etc.) to monitor performance and identify opportunities. Lead efforts to improve share of shelf, conversion, ratings/reviews, and visibility across platforms. Analyze and optimize digital shelf KPIs: search rank, content compliance, availability, price, etc. Ensure the evolution of the digital shelf and that MadeGood is best-in-class relative to competition.
Cross-Functional Leadership
Serve as eCommerce subject matter expert (SME) across the organization. Lead collaboration with Brand, Innovation, Shopper Marketing, and Category teams to ensure digital-first execution. Provide thought leadership on trends, best practices, and evolving shopper behaviors.
Capability Building
Mentor and develop direct and indirect reports; build team capabilities over time as the channel scales. Support the integration of omnichannel thinking into commercial team routines, KPIs, and culture.
Education & Qualifications
Bachelor\'s degree required (Business, Marketing, eCommerce, or related field); MBA preferred. 8+ years of progressive experience in CPG with strong focus on digital commerce and/or omnichannel retail. Direct experience managing Amazon and Walmart.com; familiarity with Instacart, Thrive, and other platforms is a plus. Experience managing media investments, content, and performance KPIs across eCommerce channels. Understanding of shopper behavior, search optimization, and platform algorithms. Strong business acumen with the ability to manage tradeoffs between margin, growth, and investment.
