As part of the mobile team, you'll deliver high-quality, end-to-end experiences and contribute meaningfully to a mobile-native design system that supports innovation, usability, and global scalability. You\'ll be a key contributor—working independently, collaborating cross-functionally, and influencing product direction by grounding your designs in customer insight, data, and mobile best practices. Intuit provides a competitive compensation package with a strong pay for performance rewards approach. The Expected Base Pay Range For This Position Is: Bay Area: $149,000 - $201,500. This position will be eligible for a cash bonus, equity rewards and benefits, in accordance with our applicable plans and programs.
Responsibilities
Lead key design initiatives from concept to delivery, crafting wireframes, visual designs, prototypes, and interaction models informed by customer insights and platform capabilities.
Translate visions into concepts and designs that communicate simplicity and effectiveness for internal leaders, partners, and customers.
Directly responsible for conducting customer research and grounding decisions in research, behavioral data, and competitor insights; collaborate closely with PMs, engineers, marketing, and data scientists.
Translate strategic goals into measurable design outcomes, advocating for accessibility, data personalization, and inclusive experiences.
Contribute to and mentor others in design critiques, offering actionable feedback across interaction, visual, and motion design.
Qualifications
5+ years of interface design experience in delivering high-volume, high-profile, or award-winning mobile products or experiences.
Bachelor’s degree in Product Design, Human-Computer Interaction Design, or related field; Masters preferred, or equivalent work experience.
Deep understanding of native mobile interaction patterns, accessibility standards, and platform-specific guidelines (HIG/Material Design).
Demonstrated ability to deliver elegant, data-informed mobile experiences that balance user needs and business goals.
Strong knowledge of user experience methods, ideation, prototyping, design principles, and problem-framing skills.
End-to-end thinking from onboarding to edge states, connecting big-picture goals to detailed elements.
Experience delivering product experiences from strategy to execution with layout, typography, iconography, color theory, and composition.
Ability to work with engineers and data teams to create technically feasible, performance-aware mobile solutions.
Collaborative, facilitative leadership to drive positive change across teams; able to manage multiple projects efficiently.
Strong online portfolio available for viewing.
