Overview

DB Global Technology, Inc. seeks a Vice President in Cary, NC to establish GCP Landing Zone for application environments and onboarding. Salary range: $164,000.00 – $245,000.00/year. This position is eligible for Deutsche Bank's Employee Referral Incentive Program. Responsibilities

Establish GCP Landing Zone for application environments and onboarding. Install and configure GCP environment including Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE), CloudSQL, Firewall, IAM access management, and related DevOps processes. Migrate existing on-premises SQL Servers and Google Cloud Database Environments to CloudSQL PostgreSQL, SQL Server, SSRS and SSIS. Build SQL Server Always-ON on Linux boxes; implement production archive of transactional OLTP/OLAP databases to archive servers. Create SSIS packages to integrate and transform data from Excel, CSV, Oracle, flat files, and text formats using OLE DB connections; run monthly ETL jobs and validate data integrity. Design and implement upgrade editions of MS SQL Server Database; migrate queries and code into Teradata and load into SQL Server warehouse using SSIS components. Design and perform at-rest database encryption with Transparent Data Encryption (TDE). Build Burndown charts with SSRS and Power BI reports on JIRA, Service Desk data and automate data loads. Work on SSRS reports that use MDX and DAX queries to toggle a tabular cube. Automate processes with Microsoft tools and PowerShell. Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science or related field, or equivalent. Five (5) years of progressively responsible experience installing and configuring GCP environments including GKE, CloudSQL, Firewall, IAM access management and associated DevOps; Experience migrating on-premises databases to CloudSQL PostgreSQL, SQL Server, SSRS/SSIS; building SQL Server Always-ON; data warehousing with Teradata and SQL Server; data integration and ETL with SSIS; data reporting with SSRS and Power BI; Experience implementing at-rest encryption and data security best practices; experience with data migration, data transformation, and data validation.
