Responsibilities What this job involves:

The AMER Sourcing Director leads commodity sourcing strategies across North and South America, managing a team of sourcing professionals to deliver transformative procurement solutions. This role combines strategic leadership with hands-on execution, developing category plans, negotiating contracts, and driving cost efficiencies for JLL's facility and project management services. You\'ll collaborate with global sourcing teams and directly impact client satisfaction through innovative supplier relationships and operational excellence.

What your day-to-day will look like:

Manage and mentor a team of sourcing professionals across all sourcing activities and initiatives

Develop comprehensive category plans with spend visibility, supplier summaries, and market insights

Lead RFP/bid processes, contract negotiations, and supplier relationship management

Coordinate with global regional Sourcing Leads to ensure program continuity and standardized reporting

Conduct supplier performance reviews, manage scorecards, and ensure contract compliance

Analyze price proposals and financial data to determine optimal pricing structures

Partner with operations teams to support daily sourcing and supply chain activities

Qualifications Required Qualifications:

Bachelor\'s degree in Business, Supply Chain, or related discipline

5+ years of experience in Sourcing/Supply Chain field with team management experience

Strong proficiency in Microsoft Project, Excel, Word, and Outlook

Proven experience developing and negotiating supplier contracts

Strong analytical capabilities to evaluate deals and pricing structures

Excellent communication and presentation skills with internal and external stakeholders

Demonstrated project management and process development skills

Preferred Qualifications:

Global sourcing experience across multiple regions

Experience with e-commerce procurement initiatives

Knowledge of supplier diversity program requirements

Experience supporting facility management and project services

Background in budget preparation and management across multiple countries

Familiarity with cross-functional stakeholder team leadership

Estimated compensation for this position:

132,200.00 – 185,000.00 USD per year

This range is an estimate and actual compensation may differ. Final compensation packages are determined by various considerations including but not limited to candidate qualifications, location, market conditions, and internal considerations.
