The Mortgage Products Manager oversees product management and development activities supporting the mortgage product portfolio. The Manager works to help mortgage products reach profitability and growth objectives and serves as a principal point of contact for mortgage product management with internal and external relationships.
Summary
The Mortgage Products Manager will be responsible for managing the mortgage product portfolio, including product development, marketing, and sales. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of two years of mortgage product management experience and a broad knowledge of mortgage products. Education And/Or Experience
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field preferred or a minimum of eight years directly related experience required Minimum two years of mortgage product management, product development or product marketing experience required General knowledge of mortgage products required Knowledge of end to end mortgage process from origination to closing required Broad knowledge of mortgage product offerings required Knowledge of competitive offerings required Proficient in MS office suite of products – Excel, Word and PowerPoint Job Responsibilities
Recommends strategies and goals for mortgage product portfolios by collaborating with management Create tactical plans and product roadmaps for assigned products and enhancements Prepare new product launches and major enhancements to existing products Conduct regular reviews of existing products to ensure that the organization remains competitive Identify opportunities for new consumer products and feature enhancements Primary resource to the mortgage line of business by providing product knowledge, product applications, and exception pricing support Ensure the timely, cost-effective and efficient delivery of mortgage products and features Manage the annual budgeting and strategic planning activities for the mortgage portfolio Partner with the Finance team to forecast and monitor all drivers of the mortgage product business Research mortgage trends and competitor offerings Partner with the Marketing team to develop marketing collateral to promote new product offerings Develop mortgage workshop materials (VA, FHA, purchase, refi and HELOC) Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, policy, and risk requirements Benefits Of Joining The Teachers Team
