Quality Inspector

NCAB Group . We are seeking a full-time in-office Quality Inspector to join our San Jose, CA team. This is a full-time in-person position in a pleasant office with an amazing team. What You Will Do
Conduct visual PCBA inspections and paperwork verification at our client's supplier(s). Ensure PCBA products meet quality and specification standards, verifying proper component placement, solder joints, and other assembly specifications. Inspect soldering, component orientation, and component placement for accuracy, as per design and IPC-A-610 standards. Confirm shipping documentation is legible and accurate (part number, serial number, etc.). Check documentation packages against industry standards and classify defects. Interpret PCBA manufacturing drawings, circuit board layouts, and identify non-conformances. Periodically verify accuracy and ensure productivity to meet production schedules. Maintain equipment and keep the work area organized and compliant with safety regulations.
What You Will Bring To Us
Knowledge of PCBA assembly methods and processes. IPC-A-610 certified. Minimum 3 years of experience as a PCBA Inspector/Assembler in electronic manufacturing or related fields. Ability to read PCB assembly schematics, circuit diagrams, and identify electronic components. Strong organizational, communication, and software adaptation skills. Great verbal and written communication skills. Familiarity with electronic and mechanical components related to PCBA contract manufacturing. Accuracy for documentation. Effectively present information and respond to questions from managers and employees. Common sense to solve practical problems. Knowledge of ESD, IPC-600/610, workmanship standards and experience. Attention to detail.
