Job Description
AWS Infrastructure Services owns the design, planning, delivery, and operation of all AWS global infrastructure. We support all AWS data centers and all of the servers, storage, networking, power, and cooling equipment that ensure our customers have continual access to the innovation they rely on.
We are looking for a Sr. Supply Chain Automation PM to be responsible for working across many high visible product areas. As a member of the AIS Supply Chain team, you will be at the forefront of this organizational capability to increase our understanding of supply chain risks within our products.
Key job responsibilities:
Deliver outcomes by working closely with the engineering and supply chain teams to drive change, leverage data, build tools, and improve our resiliency mechanisms
Support process improvements, best practice sharing, and standardization across all AWS to deliver every time for our customers
Develop working scalable mechanisms to identify, prioritize, and support teams to mitigate product and supply chain risks
Advance outcomes-based metrics to measure and quantify risk maturity
Build and maintain dashboards for customer interactions
Ensure risk identification, actions, and closures at product reviews
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelors in Engineering, Computer Science, Supply Chain, Operations, or equivalent of 7+ years of related experience
7+ years of program or project management experience
7+ years of experience in HW product management and/or in HW supply chain
7+ years of data analysis experience
7+ years of end-to-end product delivery experience
QUALIFICATIONS:
Masters, MBA, or advanced degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations
Significant experience in the product development lifecycle
Experience in representing and advocating for a variety of critical customers and users
Experience in configuration management
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
