In this role, you will define the roadmap for new product launches, align merchandising initiatives with broader business objectives, and drive long-term growth across both digital and retail channels. Our ideal candidate brings a passion for product, a sharp analytical mindset, and a proven ability to lead and inspire. Responsibilities
Define and evolve the long-term assortment strategy for our core frames business, incorporating customer insights, sales performance, trend forecasting, and profitability goals Partner with the Digital Product team to shape the future of the ecommerce shopping experience, ensuring our product is discoverable, inspiring, and conversion-driven Develop the strategy for in-store presentation across 300+ locations, including specialty assorting, product tiering, and localized merchandising to maximize performance Work cross-functionally to drive go-to-market strategies, crafting compelling product stories and mapping marketing spend to product performance, ensuring alignment with financial and brand objectives Own the pricing and promotional strategy for frames and lenses, balancing value perception with margin optimization Manage in-season business performance with a strong command of KPIs, and adjust strategies in real-time to meet financial targets Partner with Design and Product Development teams to guide the creation of new product, ensuring it meets brand, design, and quality standards Partner with merchandise planning and finance to manage the open-to-buy and inventory investment, ensuring efficient allocation to support sales, margin, and channel needs Qualifications
Backed by 10+ years of experience leading merchandising strategy, with a proven ability to drive growth and customer engagement Highly analytical, leveraging data and customer insights to inform decisions and drive business outcomes A compelling communicator and presenter, able to translate complex data into clear strategies and inspire alignment across stakeholders A people-first leader with experience managing and developing high-performing merchandising teams Comfortable working with digital product and technology teams, with a track record of contributing to digital innovation and ecommerce enhancements Compensation and Location
New York Pay Range:
$144,375 USD - $165,000 USD Note: Warby Parker may pay more or less than the posted range based on factors such as relevant experience and skills, qualifications and location, among others. This range may be modified in the future. In addition to base salary, this role is also eligible to receive a cash bonus and an equity bonus as part of the total compensation package.
