Overview

The Senior Business Manager oversees the operations of the team and manages the Business Manager who oversees the Event Planners. Support all logistics and operational activities. This role is responsible for team readiness, deliverables, and SLAs. Management responsibilities include providing daily supervision, guidance, and support to the team, as well as maintaining strong knowledge of each program to ensure alignment across centers. The Senior Business Manager is also responsible for managing client relationships, collaborating with stakeholders, and driving the implementation of new processes across teams. Essential Functions and Responsibilities

Partner with stakeholders at Eventions and other segments and maintain strong knowledge of the various programs ensuring cohesion and customization as needed. Strategize with the General Manager, Director, and Regional Director on operational processes & procedures by analyzing business needs & goals at a daily program & operational level. Maintain all necessary role-specific documentation, including but not limited to email templates, training manuals, and SharePoint sites. Lead strategic planning initiatives to support industry growth, the expansion of supported sites, and changing customer and stakeholder demands. Maintain top-quality hospitality vendors; establish efficient processes to ensure a consistent and seamless experience for guests (technical assistance, catering, transportation, interpretation, dinner reservations, furniture changes, etc.). Partner with internal teams (Catering, Concierge, Tech) and external vendors to ensure seamless execution of all events. Organize & manage updates of key information & resources in OneNote & on SharePoint, sharing updates with the team & stakeholders as needed. Understand Internal Tool & reporting features, acting as the team liaison for questions, concerns & new feature requests. Foster strong long-term relationships with clients, stakeholders, and vendor teams, promoting collaboration across centers. Provide backup support to the General Manager when needed. Other duties as assigned. Supervisory Responsibilities

Provides leadership to the Business Manager and oversight of the Planning team. Provide daily support and ensure service levels are met. Develop and execute the staffing plan, including recruitment, hiring, transferring, termination, payroll, scheduling, and backup plans. Manage onboarding and training of new lead planners and planners, as well as awareness training for other teams. Perform talent management functions for the department, including onboarding readiness, monitoring & managing performance, establishing KPIs and delivering performance appraisals. Track and report inventory, metrics & reporting to support leadership reviews. Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience. Extensive experience with Microsoft Office Suite and current on Microsoft Industry Trends. Able to quickly learn new tools/software. 7-10 years of experience in Customer Service. 5+ years of experience leading and developing teams. 3-5 years of experience planning executive events (business events such as product releases, trade shows, conferences). Event planning certification (CMP or CSEP) is a plus. Exceptional professionalism and client-focused mindset with the ability to interact effectively with all levels of business clients. Strong leadership, interpersonal and customer service skills. Excellent communication skills (verbal & written). Process oriented, organized with attention to detail; flexible. Self-motivated and able to operate in a strategic, fast-paced environment. Independent, yet able to follow guidelines and work well in a team. Comfortable communicating with a global community and diverse cultures. Organized and task-driven with strong documentation and communication skills. Benefits
