This role supports a USAF program for ETIMS, a cloud-based enterprise system hosting Java and Windows applications with Oracle backend on AWS. Base pay range

Technical Lead The position is in support of sustainment and modification of ETIMS for USAF. Teleworking is daily practice; on-site support for meetings may be required. Program context:
ETIMS manages technical orders and CPINs and provides electronic viewing of technical orders. AWS cloud hosting supports Java and Windows apps with Oracle database. Responsibilities
Manage all technical aspects of the ETIMS program. Define and implement the technical vision and strategy; design and implement software architecture to meet functional and non-functional requirements. Serve as the customer touchpoint for technical issues. Manage stakeholder expectations and communicate technical information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Lead and advise Software Development and QA/Test Teams in application sustainment and development modification activities, including: Release Management Troubleshooting Problem Solving Code Review and Defect Management Process Improvement Engineering Documentation (System/Software Requirements, Software Design Documents, Implementation Plans, Interface Requirements, etc.) Other duties as assigned Minimum Requirements
BS in Engineering, Software, or Computer Science 15+ years in Technical Leadership roles Software Development background and experience In-depth knowledge and application of system/software engineering processes Experience in GovCon environment leading Software Development and QA/Test Teams Experience interfacing with customers on technical issues and relationship management Experience leading a senior development team Experience implementing Agile Development programs focused on continuous improvement Experience training and mentoring junior teammates Excellent communication and leadership skills Hold or have the ability to obtain Security Plus or equivalent certification within 90 days If required, ability to obtain interim Secret Security Clearance If required, ability to obtain and maintain a fully adjudicated Secret Security Clearance Preferred Requirements
Experience with Requirement Elicitation Management Experience with Continuity of Operations Experience with Implementation Planning and execution Cloud Expertise Enterprise Java/Windows app/Amazon cloud Oracle Payara app server NGINX Seniority level
