As we continue to grow and broaden our footprint, we are expanding our Operations Team in the greater Chicago area. We are seeking an experienced professional with a proven track record in Transformation Management Office within the restructuring sector - someone who embraces continuous improvement and brings an entrepreneurial mindset.
This role involves on-site work at portfolio companies located across US territory.
Your Tasks
Supporting our portfolio companies in their turnaround journey, by working closely with the management board and the Mutares team
Establishing a business plan incl. a turnaround concept and driving the implementation together with the Operations team and the portfolio company, including the management of different stakeholders
Assessment of strategic decisions (e.g. Insourcing/Outsourcing) together with the local teams and the Mutares team
Supporting the acquisition and integration process of add on acquisitions
Establishing the management governance and coherent tracking and reporting within the portfolio company
Your Profile
Successfully completed a degree in the field of economics, engineering, science or similar with outstanding results
At least 6 years of experience in transformations, restructuring or turnaround situations
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, combined with an entrepreneurial mindset and hands-on approach
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Business fluency in English, with the ability to communicate in a well-structured and concise manner
Willingness to travel up to 4 days per week (typically Monday – Thursday) and to work in an international environment
