The Production Team The Production Team oversees Cupertino Electric’s Field workforce, ensuring projects are executed with high standards of safety, productivity, scheduling, quality and cost control. We focus on operational excellence and developing field leadership that drives performance and delivers successful project outcomes. About the Role

The Field Operations Coordinator supports the Site Superintendent and Field Team on Cupertino Electric, Inc. projects. They perform high-level administrative tasks, including managing union workforce onboarding, payroll, resource tracking, and dispatch coordination. The role requires exceptional organizational skills, resourcefulness, and the ability to operate efficiently in a dynamic, fast-paced construction environment. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and the ability to quickly learn new software systems are essential. Union New Hire Onboarding

: Ensure compliance with I-9 requirements for new hires, coordinate site orientation and badging for field employees, assist new employees with onboarding, facilitate required orientation videos, and provide IT/tablet support. Maintain accurate onboarding records and timely updates. Payroll Management

: Enter and submit timecards weekly for all field staff, proofread entries to prevent payroll errors, provide payroll reports (incentives, per diem, corrections), and sort/distribute paychecks to ensure on-time delivery. Resource Tracking

: Track attendance and workforce resources on-site using Procore Workforce Management, conduct daily roll calls to verify staff presence, and manage dispatching, terminations, and personnel update requests. Administrative Support

: Consolidate and submit daily reports to key stakeholders, manage IT requests, provide basic IT support for field staff, order supplies, coordinate catering for events, maintain safety training records, file and maintain site records, and perform basic office housekeeping as required. Skill

: Has substantial understanding of the job and applies knowledge to complete a wide range of tasks. Job Complexity

: Semi-routine work with occasional deviation from standard practices; moderately difficult tasks requiring judgment and problem-solving. Supervision

: Generally receives little daily instruction; guidance on new assignments as needed. About You

Strong communication skills to interact effectively with field and office personnel. Resourceful problem-solver who can adapt to changing project needs. Team-oriented and collaborates well with others. Strong Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel and Outlook. Familiarity with payroll management and timecard submission. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to work effectively in a construction site environment. Experience with I-9 compliance and onboarding preferred. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced setting. Minimum Qualifications

Any combination of education and experience likely to provide the required knowledge, skills and abilities, along with any required licenses or certifications, is qualifying. Education:

High School Diploma or GED required. Any college degree preferred. Licensure/Certifications:

None required. Experience:
