Overview LG NOVA, LG’s North America Innovation Center, is the company’s venture incubation arm based in Silicon Valley. Our mandate is to identify transformative growth opportunities and launch new ventures that shape the future of LG. We partner with startups, enterprises, and public institutions to co-create the next generation of impactful businesses.

The Role: Entrepreneur-in-Residence (EIR) We’re seeking an experienced Entrepreneur-in-Residence to lead the incubation of a new digital health venture within LG NOVA. This is a founder-track role focused on developing, validating, and launching a scalable business—culminating in a spin-out backed by our internal venture fund.

What You’ll Do

Identify emerging opportunities in digital health, including clinical, wellness, and B2B2C domains.

Collaborate with external stakeholders (health systems, payers, life science companies, etc.) to define problems and validate solutions.

Secure early pilot partnerships and customer traction.

Develop and pitch the business case through LG NOVA’s gated venture approval process.

Negotiate venture funding and spin-out terms with LG’s internal venture capital team.

Assemble a world-class founding team.

Build business models, product/service concepts, and go-to-market strategies.

Lead rapid prototyping, testing, and iteration of product ideas.

Create and manage financial forecasts and operational roadmaps.

Experience We’d Like You To Have

15+ years in startups, corporate innovation, or venture studios, with a proven ability to build and scale businesses.

7+ years in product strategy and digital product development, ideally in healthtech, medtech, or wellness.

Firm grasp of healthcare business models and buyer dynamics across payers, providers, and patients.

Familiarity with AI, cloud platforms, and software/hardware integration.

Experience raising capital and working with VCs or corporate venture arms.

Track record of navigating ambiguity and operating with urgency in white space environments.

Exceptional communicator with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, computer science, or a related field (advanced degrees a plus).

Previous founder or start-up executive experience in digital health preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with AI-first product development and business model design.

Understanding of agile venture building and lean experimentation frameworks.

Deep network across healthcare stakeholders and potential early customers.

Please Note:

this is a contract position, not a direct full-time position with LG.

Location:

hybrid; this person will work out of the Santa Clara, CA office.

Recruiting Range $185,000—$270,000 USD
