Oversee daily onsite field operations, managing construction activities, third-party vendors, and contractors. Maintain project schedule and proactively manage the project budget by overseeing approvals and deliveries, controlling expenses, and reviewing submittal data. Interface with project inspectors, contractors, architects, engineers, city and county officials, and clients. Collaborate with internal Project Managers, Design Managers, and Developers. Drive the construction document coordination phase and review document packages for procurement, developing detailed scopes of work. Help formulate, maintain, and execute the project schedule. Manage the permit process with expeditors, DOB, MTA, and related governmental requirements. Lead jobsite foreman’s meetings. Compensation
$175,000 - $200,000+ / year Annual performance based bonus Qualifications
15+ years’ experience, preferably in ground up residential construction. Previous experience with projects in Jersey City a must. Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management, Engineering or related field preferred. Experienced with Super’s license, OSHA 30, and Procore. A mature professional with excellent judgment and intuitive interpersonal skills. Exceptional communications skills – written and verbal.
