Overview
Xfinity Retail - Assistant Store Manager (Hendersonville, TN) role at Comcast. This position is responsible for the daily operations of a location and delivering a best in class experience for the store team and for customers. The role provides leadership, guidance, coaching and motivation to the retail sales team to deliver a superior customer experience and achieve sales results. Core Responsibilities
Achieves all sales and service metrics through daily supervision, coaching and consistent performance-management of retail sales team. Proactively coaches and develops store team to perform their responsibilities at a high level. Provides on-boarding support, observes and provides feedback to new hires to ensure they are on-track with training and able to provide an exceptional customer experience. Ensures store environment follows published planograms and branding standards and that all customer demos are functional. Oversees daily sales floor responsibilities with store manager, including staffing, scheduling, dress code compliance, sales huddles and resolution of customer escalations. Drives store operations with emphasis on back-of-house standards and showroom floor processes; evaluates and improves processes and procedures. Leads inventory management including inventory cycle counts and ensuring timeliness and compliance with store, channel and company requirements. Reviews store reports for opportunities in sales, inventory, cash handling, productivity and customer feedback systems. Coaches team members on how to position all products with customers and ensures professional customer interactions. Stays current on new products and services, industry trends and reinforces findings with the team. Administers cash handling policies and leverages tools to monitor customer feedback and drive improvements. Understands sales compensation plans and answers team member questions. Builds collaborative relationships with market and region stakeholders including the operations manager. Must be able to carry and lift up to 25 pounds, stand and move about the store; regular, punctual attendance; ability to work nights and weekends, variable schedules and overtime as necessary. Bachelor's Degree (preferred; Comcast may consider combinations of coursework and experience or extensive related professional experience). 5-7 Years of relevant work experience. Additional Information
