What You’ll Be Doing Inspire the Customer Connection: You’ll inspire associates with integrity and drive, fostering a culture of caring and camaraderie focused on customer relationships, operational excellence, and flawless delivery of both. You infuse coaching moments for the selling behaviors behind our Customer Connection. Champion Talent Discovery: You’ll be enthusiastic and proactive about seeking out exceptional external talent, collaborating with the Store Manager to interview and hire individuals passionate about creating top-notch customer experiences. Ace Retail Operations & Support Staffing Levels: You’ll know retail operational fundamentals and keep the store running smoothly. From pricing to shipping processing and inventory, you’ve got daily operations dialed in, leveraging store standards as the framework of success. You’ll support staffing levels set by the Store Manager considering availability, peak days, and seasonal hiring needs. Leverage Insights to Deliver Results: Take accountability for goals and their impact on location performance. Drive sales to achieve goals and, in partnership with the Store Manager, apply insights to continually improve results. Be a Culture Builder: Support a work and team environment where diversity and inclusivity are valued. Maintain a positive mindset, lead by example, and uplift others to improve retention and performance. Be our Store Manager’s Right Hand: When the Store Manager is away, step into their shoes, refining leadership and store management skills. Ensure compliance with company programs through training and follow-up, and develop internal talent in partnership with the Store Manager. Essential Functions:

Has at least 1 year of sales experience (retail preferred). Experience in interviewing, hiring, and training people. Ability to lead, motivate, and communicate positively with store associates. Ability to train, coach, and develop associates for engaging customer experiences and execution of operations. Exercises independent judgment partnering with the Store Sales Manager as needed. Strong cognitive skills: problem solving, analysis, decision making, and financial/quantitative analysis. Knowledge of general retail practices and procedures. Flexible schedule including holidays, nights, weekends, and extended hours. Basic computer skills. Physical Requirements And Environment Ability to regularly lift up to 40 lbs. with proper technique. Frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and repetitive lifting. Mobility on the sales floor for extended periods. 1+ years of sales experience, preferably retail. Experience leading others and developing talent; ability to mentor and train associates on selling techniques and operations.
