Compliance Specialist (North Bay- 8912) Hybrid Remote Position
Monitors regulatory and company policy compliance for EAH Housing and supports property managers across communities in the East Bay (Modesto, Richmond, Oakley) and Central Valley (Fresno region). Performs on-site reviews and provides compliance-related consultative services. Responsibilities
Plans and conducts quarterly on-site reviews of projects funded by Tax Credit, HUD project based Section 8, Tax Exempt Bonds, AHP, RHCP, CalHFA, CDBG, NEF, MHP and other private/public sources. Verifies compliance with rules and regulations of funding sources, Fair Housing standards, and EAH Policies and Procedures. Recommends corrective actions to resolve noncompliance and works with site managers to implement them. Provides compliance-related consultative services to site managers and administrative staff. Identifies trends in noncompliance and suggests improvements through changes in policies, procedures, and training. Assists the Compliance Director with implementation of policies, procedures, and processes. Qualifications
Two years of experience in property management or a housing regulatory agency; multi-regional property management experience preferred. Certification desired: COS (Certified Occupancy Specialist), CPO (Certified Profession of Occupancy), TCS (Tax Credit Specialist), or related designation (SCS, SHCM, etc.). Additional Information
Salary range: $27.50 - $44.00 per hour. Hiring range generally $27.50 - 35.75 per hour, DOE. This offer will consider experience and current salary levels at EAH in a similar role.
