Company: Verde Clean Position: Site Manager Verde's Site Manager supports our Site Supervisor in making sure we have the right people in the right places to achieve our mission of delivering cleaner workplaces and a greener world. As our Site Manager, you help support recruiting, scheduling, and training, and you will lead a crew of custodial employees to ensure levels of cleanliness and sanitation meet standards. You will inspect and audit areas, equipment, and working conditions to ensure compliance with sanitation and OSHA regulations. What you’d do at Verde You are someone who isn't afraid to roll up your sleeves, get your hands dirty, and jump right into the work when needed. Assist with recruiting, interviewing, hiring, and training staff in the department. Oversee the daily workflow of the department. Assist by providing constructive feedback and timely performance evaluations. Assist with discipline and termination of department staff in accordance with company policy. Coordinate and supervise the activities of employees in the custodial program and ensure custodial service expectations are met at the job site. Train and instruct employees in tasks, safety, policies, and procedures. Take appropriate action and report accidents and incidents to the Regional director immediately. Ensure custodial personnel have the equipment and supplies necessary to perform their job. Conduct regular quality, service, and safety inspections of assigned areas and report the results with emphasis on needed repairs. Evaluate and recommend new custodial supplies and equipment by conducting testing and ensure specified contract services are provided by the contractor by inspecting the work performed. Carry out management responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Provide recommendations for corrective action in areas that need improvement. Work with Site Supervisor to maximize profitability. Performs other related duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications
The following are the minimum qualifications that an individual needs in order to successfully perform the duties and responsibilities of this position: must be detail oriented and a team player. Education and Experience
Minimum of 3+ years of progressively responsible experience in janitorial operations. Minimum of 1+ year of supervisory experience in janitorial operations, managing direct reports. Minimum of three years of janitorial-related work. Solid knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint). Skills/Abilities
Ability to work well under pressure. Confidence, drive, and enthusiasm. Decision-making ability and strong sense of responsibility. Planning and organizational skills. Solid leadership skills. Great communication skills, both written and verbal. Problem-solving skills. Multitasking. Ability to motivate others. Team player. Physical Requirements
