Role Procurement Manager - Indirect Spend Americas. Sonova is seeking a Procurement Manager Generalist to join our team in Chicago. This role manages all aspects of indirect spend across North America, devising and implementing procurement strategies, managing supplier relations, and ensuring cost-effective purchases aligned with company goals and standards. The role will co-manage a spend of 100M USD across all Sonova business units and companies in the Americas.

Responsibilities

Develop and execute procurement strategies across multiple indirect spend categories, adapting to market trends.

Build and maintain strong supplier relationships while negotiating favorable contracts and terms.

Drive cost-savings initiatives, monitor spend, and report on key procurement performance metrics.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align procurement activities with overall business goals.

Ensure compliance with company policies, legal standards, and evolving regulations.

Lead procurement projects end-to-end, proactively addressing challenges and risks.

Engage stakeholders by presenting strategies and results to senior management and maintaining effective communication channels.

More about you / Qualifications

Bachelor\'s degree in business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field; advanced education a plus.

5+ years of procurement experience, preferably in a generalist role with international exposure.

Strong negotiation, supplier management, and analytical/problem-solving skills.

Proficient in procurement systems (P2P, SAP, Ariba) and Microsoft Office Suite.

Excellent communication, interpersonal, and influencing abilities; effective team player.

Self-motivated, adaptable, and able to perform in fast-paced, dynamic environments.

Proficiency in English (spoken and written).

Other requirements A minimum of 200Mb/sec download and 10Mb/sec upload speed internet connectivity is required to support any remote/hybrid employee functionality at Sonova.

Pay If the applicant selected for this role resides in CA, CO, NY or WA we adhere to the pay transparency required in those states. This role\'s pay range is between

$88,000/yr - $110,000.00/yr . This role is bonus eligible.
