Since 1996, RQC, LLC. has been a leading player in Southern California's robust commercial and governmental Design-Build economy. Headquartered in Carlsbad, CA, we are a full-service Design-Build company offering project management throughout the United States with field operations on location for each project. We specialize in fast-track commercial construction projects for public and private clients, with a primary focus on the Department of Defense market. We are seeking Construction Quality Control Manager candidates to join our West Coast Field Operations team for military/federal projects in San Diego County. The headquarters will be in Carlsbad, but the specific project location could vary within San Diego County. Responsibilities include: Planning, coordinating, and implementing project-specific quality control programs. Ensuring performance aligns with contract requirements. Completing administrative documentation on time. Fostering customer satisfaction with clients. The QC Manager must work on-site. Local candidates will be prioritized based on project location, but relocation or travel may be required. Compensation:
$100,000 - $145,000 annually (dependent on experience) Benefits include:
Vehicle Allowance, Medical/Dental/Vision Benefits (UnitedHealthcare), Vacation/Sick/Holiday Pay, Bonus eligibility Ideal candidates will have: A degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, Building Construction, or Building Science, or equivalent work experience. 5-10 years of experience as a Project Manager, Superintendent, QC Manager, Project Engineer, or Construction Manager, with at least two years as a QC Manager. Current USACE CQM for Contractors Certificate (or equivalent). Desired certifications: Specialty inspection training, LEED AP/GA, EM 385-1-1 Level 1, CRP, First Aid, OSHA 30-hour. Computer literacy in Microsoft Office, Outlook, Internet, and specific software like Viewpoint/Vista. Company Profile:
