Data Center Project Manager (DCPM) , you will perform troubleshooting for service incidents, manage assigned projects to meet service delivery objectives, and escalate to appropriate stakeholders to remove obstacles. You will follow safety policies and procedures and participate in root cause analysis (RCA) of incidents. This role provides the opportunity to build a solid understanding of data center procedures, collaborate across teams, and mentor across data centers by sharing best practices. Microsoft's Cloud Operations & Innovation (CO+I) powers our cloud services. As a CO+I DCPM, you will help deliver core infrastructure and foundational technologies for Microsoft’s online services including Bing, Office 365, Xbox, OneDrive, and the Microsoft Azure platform. Demonstrate conscientiousness on cost and adhere to budget requirements; keep costs reasonable and contribute to staying within budget. Follow and adhere to safety and security policies and procedures; report immediately any safety or security issues or concerns. Perform troubleshooting for service incidents and escalate as appropriate to meet SLAs/OLAs with minimal disruption to clients/customers and the business. Recognize potential customer impact of other events and issues, communicate potential impact, and plan for impact accordingly. Proactively review schedules, avoid conflicts when possible, identify and coordinate, manage expectations, and offer alternatives when defining customer solutions. Manage relationships with clients and suppliers to ensure expectations are clarified, understood, documented, and met. Suggest ways to reduce risk during maintenance and work with others to accommodate scheduling needs. Align with management priorities and hold self-accountable for end-to-end service quality, completeness, and customer experience; support escalation of issues to the appropriate owner. Required Qualifications

High School Qualification or equivalent AND 2+ years experience supporting IT equipment or related technology or delivering server and network deployment projects in large-scale environments OR equivalent experience Experience managing IT or network infrastructure projects from planning through execution, including stakeholder escalation and risk mitigation Background Check Requirements

Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings: Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter. Citizenship & Citizenship Verification: This position requires verification of U.S. citizenship due to citizenship-based legal restrictions. Citizenship will be verified via valid documents or verified US government Clearance as applicable. Criminal Justice Information Services: This position may require passing a background check conducted through the CJIS system by authorized agencies. Preferred Qualifications

Experience in Critical Environment infrastructures (e.g., UPS, Generator, AHU) or working in physical IT infrastructures (Servers, Networking, Capacity, DC Rack/Enclosures, structured cabling) Technical college degree in Computer Science, Math, Telecommunications, Electrical/Mechanical Engineering, or related field. Applicable certifications: various IT and project management certifications (e.g., PMP, ITIL, Network, Microsoft, CompTIA). In-depth knowledge of datacenter cabling standards and practices, including structured cabling systems, fiber optic and copper cabling for high-performance network infrastructure. Data Center Operations Management IC3 – The typical base pay range in the U.S. is USD $80,000 - $159,600 per year; location-specific ranges may apply (e.g., San Francisco Bay Area and New York City metro area).
