The AWS Professional Services (ProServe) team is looking for a talented Delivery Consultant to craft, implement, and manage secure AWS solutions that fulfill our customers' technical needs and drive their business success. Your role will be pivotal in guiding customers through their cloud journeys by providing expert knowledge and best practices at every stage of their projects. As a Delivery Consultant, you will leverage your extensive understanding of AWS products and services to design intricate, scalable solutions that are tailored to each customer's requirements. You will assess their existing infrastructure, gather essential requirements, and devise effective migration strategies to AWS. Acting as a trusted advisor, you will mentor customers on industry advancements and emerging technologies, lead the implementation efforts, and ensure that best practices, performance optimization, and risk management are integrated throughout the project lifecycle. About AWS / ProServe The AWS Professional Services organization comprises a global team of specialists dedicated to helping customers achieve optimal business outcomes with AWS Cloud solutions. We collaborate with customer teams and leverage the AWS Partner Network (APN) to execute cloud initiatives across various industries, providing targeted guidance through our broad range of expertise. Key Responsibilities: Crafting and executing complex, scalable, and secure AWS solutions tailored for customer requirements. Delivering technical guidance and troubleshooting assistance throughout project execution. Collaborating with stakeholders to gather requirements and outline effective migration strategies. Serving as a trusted advisor on industry trends and emerging technologies. Enhancing organizational knowledge through mentoring, training, and the creation of reusable resources. Basic Qualifications: 3+ years of experience in cloud architecture and implementation. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience. 1+ years of experience in automating security operations, including scripting and automation for scalable and secure environments, as well as implementing security policies as code. 1+ years of advanced incident response experience, directing detection, analysis, and eradication efforts. 3+ years of experience with security services and optimizing security measures and controls. Preferred Qualifications: Proficient in various AWS services (e.g., EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, IAM, VPC, CloudFormation). AWS Professional level certifications (e.g., Solutions Architect Professional, DevOps Engineer Professional, Certified Security Specialty) preferred. Experience with automation and scripting tools (Terraform, Python). Keen understanding of compliance standards (HIPAA, GDPR). Exceptional communication skills to convey technical concepts to diverse audiences. Familiarity with industry standards (PCI-DSS, ISO 27001, HIPAA, NIST). Hands-on experience with enterprise security solutions (WAF, IPS, Anti-DDoS, SIEM). Location:

San Diego, CA Compensation and Benefits: Our compensation is reflective of the labor market in different US regions. The base salary for this role ranges from $118,200 per year in our lowest geographic market to $204,300 per year in our highest geographic market. Pay will be based on various factors like location and may vary according to job-related skills and experience.
