Job Summary

Supports the movement and growth opportunities for inbound and outbound cargo for freight forwarding customers. Ensures that freight is processed in compliance with governmental regulations (e.g., Federal Aviation Administration, Transportation Security Administration, etc.). Collaborates with vendors, customers, commercial airline carriers, ocean freightliners, and other internal support groups for the movement of international and domestic air and ocean shipments. Responsible for overseeing, evaluating, and correcting the performance and outcomes of a team or multiple teams. Coordinates work locally and across the organization to optimize efficiency. Makes key workforce decisions, such as hiring, onboarding, transferring, laying off, disciplining, assigning, directing, instructing, developing, and rewarding employees. Emphasis on aligning processes and fostering cohesion among team members. Responsibilities and Requirements

Supervises a team(s) that performs work according to standardized processes or procedures. Sets priorities for the team to ensure task completion; coordinates work activities with other supervisors. Solves complex problems by taking a new perspective on existing solutions. Impacts the team’s productivity and quality. Works independently, receives minimal guidance. Acts as a resource for colleagues with less experience. Additional Criteria

Job Grade: 20E Must be currently located in the same geographic location as the job or willing to self-relocate by yourself - Required At least one of the following (Supply Chain Solutions, Small Package, Service Center or Gateway) experience. Expertise in internal systems and applications.
