Associate Director, Global Business Development Forecasting at AbbVie. This role leads forecasting and commercial analytics in support of Neuroscience pipeline BD opportunities and partners with CBSO and PCS to develop, inform, and present commercial assessments for external opportunities. Base pay range $137,500.00/yr - $261,000.00/yr Responsibilities

Develop market assessments, sales forecasts, and P&L’s for BD opportunities Actively participate on BD project teams—evaluate revenue potential and commercial costs; ensure consistency with internal assumptions and gain alignment on key assumptions with internal stakeholders Partner with epidemiology team to understand prevalence, incidence, and relevant patient segmentation Collaborate with marketing analytics to drive primary research activities, seek robust secondary data, and utilize key opinion leader input to inform sales forecasts Partner with market access & pricing to evaluate pricing potential and understand pricing pressures and opportunities Incorporate market knowledge to develop an informed perspective on future marketplace dynamics by reviewing market research, industry trends, study results, competitive profiles, internal assessments, analyst reports, and other data Convey risks and opportunities through risk modelling, scenario planning, or other robust analyses Present forecasts and key assumptions to senior commercial and finance leaders including PCS VPs, BU Presidents, and BU Controllers in key forums including REO Coordinate with BD finance and deal leads to ensure BD deal valuations reflect latest thinking and aligned commercial perspective on each external opportunity Collaborate with BD and forecasting colleagues to enhance PCS BD forecasting capabilities Qualifications

7+ years of relevant forecasting, market analytics, or finance experience within the pharmaceutical, biotech, or life sciences consulting industries Experience providing marketing analytics and forecasting analyses for Neuroscience, Immunology, Oncology, or other specialized therapeutic areas Experience building forecast models and conducting analyses for decision support Demonstrated ability to incorporate and communicate analytics (primary and secondary data) for strategic decision support Strong ability to present to senior management and tailor communication content for the audience Demonstrated ability to influence decision making in cross-functional and cross-cultural environments Self-motivated with experience planning, prioritizing, and managing multiple projects across multiple teams while delivering results on-time Highly creative, resourceful, self-motivated, and intellectually curious with the ability to independently structure and complete complex analyses Team player with a positive, flexible, can-do attitude and a track record of developing and leading solutions to issues Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with advanced Excel and PowerPoint capabilities MBA or other advanced degree is preferred Key Leadership Competencies

Experience in pipeline forecasting for specialized therapeutic areas (e.g., Immunology or Oncology) is preferred Strong analytic and communication skills Strong skills as both a team player and team leader in a highly matrixed organization Strong strategic thinking skills and demonstrated ability to influence Ability to champion AbbVie Leadership Attributes Additional Information

The compensation range described below is the range of possible base pay compensation the Company believes in good faith it will pay for this role at the time of this posting based on the job grade. Individual compensation will depend on factors including geographic location and may be more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future. We offer a comprehensive benefits package including paid time off (vacation, holidays, sick), medical/dental/vision insurance and 401(k) to eligible employees. This job is eligible to participate in our short-term and long-term incentive programs. Note: No amount of pay is considered to be wages or compensation until earned, vested, and determinable.
