Traveling Superintendent - Underground Utilities

We are seeking an experienced Superintendent to oversee underground utility construction projects with a focus on wastewater and sewer piping systems. The ideal candidate will have at least 5+ years of field experience installing wet utilities and 5+ years of supervising heavy civil projects involving tunneling or underground piping systems. Key Responsibilities: Supervise daily field operations for underground utility projects, ensuring safety, quality, and productivity. Oversee crews installing wastewater/sewer piping and related wet utility systems. Coordinate schedules, subcontractors, equipment, and materials. Ensure compliance with project plans, specifications, and regulatory requirements. Act as the primary on-site leader, working closely with project managers, engineers, and inspectors. Maintain accurate daily reports and communicate project progress to management. Promote and enforce a strong safety culture on all job sites. Qualifications: Minimum 5+ years of field experience installing wastewater/sewer piping. Minimum 5+ years of experience supervising heavy civil wet utility, tunneling, or underground piping projects. Strong knowledge of underground construction practices, equipment, and safety standards. Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills. Willingness and ability to travel regionally (80% travel, typically 17 days on / 4 days off).
