The Opportunity As a Project and Program Manager specializing in Business Performance within Transformation Architecture and Delivery, you’ll lead initiatives aligned with strategic goals. Your expertise in Agile and Waterfall methodologies will ensure projects meet timelines, budgets, and quality standards. You’ll design and operate business and solution architecture, product management approaches, and value delivery structures, tracking performance and benefits across workstreams. We bridge the gap between strategy and execution by designing frameworks that enable data-driven decisions, optimize commercial transformation, and support value management and complex program structures. EY’s focus on digital and AI transformation embeds technology into our processes to automate tasks and deliver deeper insights. Key Responsibilities Establish Transformation Management Offices (TMO) or Enterprise PMOs (EPMO) using proven frameworks based on global standards; Collaborate with leadership to design and operate business and solution architecture, product management approaches, and value delivery structures; Track performance and benefits across workstreams; manage multiple processes and projects with a focus on quality and risk; Drive process improvement and identify innovative solutions; Lead teams to deliver complex technical initiatives with measurable outcomes; Apply expertise to resolve business issues and implement quality solutions; travel as needed to meet client requirements. Skills And Attributes For Success Strong management of timelines, costs, and quality; deep knowledge of project and program delivery methodologies; Ability to mentor others in tools, techniques, and technologies; Leadership in planning, execution, and closure of workstreams; Initiative in identifying new service opportunities and leading RFP responses; Collaborative, inclusive approach to team leadership and mentoring; Technical proficiency and business acumen with ongoing industry awareness; Focus on quality and risk management with ability to lead teams or workstreams depending on engagement size; Understanding of EY’s service lines and ability to identify client opportunities; Relationship-building across EY practices to meet client needs. To Qualify, You Must Have Bachelor’s degree; advanced degree is a plus; Approximately 5+ years of consulting experience, preferably in a Big 4 firm, supporting Business and Solution Architecture, Product and Portfolio Management, and Program Management in areas such as: TMO/VMO/EPMO design and delivery; Value and complex product/program roadmapping; Maturity assessments; End-to-end ERP or AI/Data Fabric implementations; Proven success leading workstreams or consulting teams; Experience supporting pursuit efforts and the full RFP lifecycle; Familiarity with change management and delivery methodologies; Strong problem-solving skills and digital fluency; Experience in program structuring, governance, and project management tools; Excellent oral and written communication skills; A valid U.S. driver’s license and passport, with willingness to travel (estimated at 80%). Ideally, You’ll Also Have Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Systems, Engineering, Economics, or Business; Certifications such as CPA, PMP, Six Sigma, or SAP Solution Manager; Industry experience in Technology, Media and Telecommunications (TMT), Private Equity (PE), Industrials and Energy, including Oil, Gas and Chemicals and Power and Utilities (P&U), Media & Entertainment, Consumer and Health sectors; Effective change management and negotiation skills; In-depth sector knowledge to provide valuable insights. Comprehensive compensation and benefits package with base salary ranges: US-wide $128,400–$235,300; NYC Metro/Washington State/CA (excluding Sacramento) $154,000–$267,400; salaries determined by education, experience, knowledge, skills and geography; Total Rewards include medical and dental, pension and 401(k), and paid time off. Hybrid model: client-serving roles typically in-person 40–60% of the time over engagements. Flexible vacation policy and paid holidays, with additional leaves for personal/family care and well-being.
