We are seeking a forward-thinking Compensation Operations Manager to lead the strategic analysis and development of our compensation programs. Key responsibilities include researching new compensation models and methods, managing salary structures, administering bonuses and incentives, conducting market pay analysis, ensuring compliance with pay-related regulations, and translating complex compensation data into clear, actionable insights that influence business strategy. Incumbent also serves as a key advisor to HR leaders and business leaders on application of compensation practices to address workforce challenges.

Responsibilities
Develop, implement, and maintain policies, frameworks, and structures for organizational wide compensation programs.
Conduct regular market analysis to benchmark salaries and a broad range of other workforce trends. Analyzes results to assess impact on compensation programs and makes recommendations to ensure overall program effectiveness.
Manage the administration and payout of incentive programs, bonuses, and other performance-related pay.
Plan, prepare and lead the annual merit increase process.
Regularly review all compensation practices to ensure they comply with federal, state, and local laws and regulations.
Partner with HR business partners and operational leadership on compensation strategies and market trends. Advise and consult with leaders across the organization in making informed and strategic compensation decisions.
Lead continuous improvement and innovation in compensation infrastructure processes, tools, and analytics.
Conduct ad-hoc analysis to identify patterns/trends, benchmark to metrics, etc, and provide data-driven insights and recommendations to HR and business partners on various people-related issues.
The pay range for this position is $100,000 - $150,000 yearly based on direct and relevant experience.
Preferred candidates will live within a commutable distance of our corporate office which is located in St. Louis Park, MN. This position is remote but occasional onsite work may be required.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Finance or related field
Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel
Extensive experience in compensation strategy, design and administration
Preferred:
Experience in health care field
Prior experience with financial reporting and analysis
Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) certification a plus.
