We are seeking a
Management Analyst
to support EUR-IO/EX/HR in delivering human resources services for the Global Engagement Center (GEC). This role provides advisory, analytical, and operational support on staffing, classification, performance management, employee relations, and organizational management. The Analyst will serve as a trusted HR advisor, ensuring compliance with federal regulations while driving process efficiency and supporting strategic workforce initiatives.
Responsibilities
Support staffing, hiring, classification, performance management, and employee relations functions
Review, analyze, and interpret HR regulations, OPM directives, and Department of State guidelines
Draft and track HR actions, reports, and documentation for the GEC
Provide consultative advice to managers and employees on HR processes and issues
Develop and prepare briefings, background papers, and appeals to Departmental decisions
Support reorganizations and position management, including drafting position descriptions
Monitor HR and administrative processes to ensure compliance and recommend improvements
Serve as liaison with HR Shared Services Providers and Department-level contacts
Support special projects, presentations, and resource management initiatives
Performs other job-related duties as assigned
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Public Administration, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience)
Experience in federal HR or human capital management, including staffing and employee relations
Knowledge of OPM and federal HR policies, procedures, and regulations
Strong analytical, diagnostic, and problem-solving skills
Excellent written and verbal communication abilities, with experience preparing policy guidance and reports
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities
U.S. citizenship required
Must pass pre-employment qualifications of Cherokee Federal
Compensation & Benefits Estimated Starting Salary Range for
Management Analyst : $101,401.00
Pay commensurate with experience.
Full time benefits include Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K, and other possible benefits as provided. Benefits are subject to change with or without notice.
