Portfolio Management Manager

Inspire The Portfolio Management Manager serves as a critical member of the M&A and Business Development team, facilitating franchisee and corporate restaurant transactions that drive portfolio optimization and long-term brand growth. This role is finance-centric, with a focus on valuation, financial analysis, and transaction execution for acquisitions, dispositions, and transfers of restaurants within the system. Responsibilities
Lead the franchisee-to-franchisee transfer process as a project manager, including valuation analysis, financial modeling, and recommendations on Right of First Refusal (ROFR) opportunities. Support the acquisition and disposition of corporate restaurants, managing all aspects of the transaction lifecycle — from financial due diligence and modeling through closing and post-closing reconciliations. Provide financial and analytical support for ad hoc M&A and strategic business development initiatives across the portfolio. Education Qualifications
Minimum: Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field Preferred: MBA or Master’s Degree in Finance Experience Qualifications
Minimum 3+ years of experience in corporate finance, investment banking, transaction advisory, corporate M&A. Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Strong financial modeling, valuation, and analytical skills with emphasis on returns, deal structures, and transaction economics Deep understanding of financial principles, corporate finance, and M&A execution Ability to manage complex transactions involving multiple stakeholders, including franchisees, attorneys, financial institutions, and advisors Strong communication skills with the ability to present financial analyses and recommendations to senior leadership and external partners Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; experience with financial systems and valuation tools Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Outlook Preferred: Negotiation experience, exposure to franchising or multi-unit retail transactions Inspire is a multi-brand restaurant company whose portfolio includes more than 33,000 Arby’s, Baskin-Robbins, Buffalo Wild Wings, Dunkin’, Jimmy John’s, and SONIC restaurants worldwide.
