Base pay range
$125,000.00/yr - $140,000.00/yr
Key Responsibilities
Support senior distributors to originate, structure, distribute, and execute finance transactions in the Project Finance, North America loan market;
Produce loan offers, pitches, and term sheets with metier;
Prepare capital structure assessments, which include comparable transactions and analysis of market data;
Prepare pitch books and market updates for clients, Information Memoranda, Teasers or other marketing materials for lead transactions and slides for bank meetings /road shows as needed;
Prepare syndication strategies, underwriting opinions, and market reads/commentaries;
Assist with Q&A during selldown process;
Cover assigned investors to stay up-to-date on their strategy, appetite, needs, and goals to facilitate future collaboration, including via phone calls, meetings, and attending industry events to represent CACIB and build beneficial relationships (with both investors and clients);
Develop and maintain relationships with investors active in Project Finance, including international and domestic banks and non-banks/institutional investors;
Actively participate in the selling of assignments and participations in syndicated transactions in the primary market; full assistance given to the Secondary Loan Sales team post-closing;
Work with Energy & Infrastructure Group (EIG) NA team and Secondary Loan Sales team to manage and execute secondary loan transactions and promote asset rotation;
Work with the CRI team to secure appetite and execute CRI agreements;
Negotiate and review credit agreements and provide relevant comments from a syndication perspective;
Oversee all Closing procedures for deals, including but not limited to updating internal systems (Diamond and internal spreadsheets), producing Fee Memos and Closing Memos, keeping sales volumes updated;
Support, present, and/or serve as point of contact for Syndication/market questions at Credit and Underwriting Committees to secure internal approvals;
Diligently take notes during investor meetings and draft Call Reports for internal systems; and
Other additional tasks as required and requested.
Key Requirements
BA/BS degree or master’s degree;
At least 2/3 years of relevant experience in banking;
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to multi-task;
Strong analytical and presentation skills;
Strong work ethos, sense of ownership, strong initiative and dynamism;
Credit training and/or credit skills;
Some accounting/finance coursework;
Flexibility to step in/ help in other sectors if and when required;
