Join Varsity Tutors as a Finance tutor to teach students online using the Live Learning Platform. You will be matched with students based on your expertise and teaching style, with tools to assist your sessions and streamline prep. What We Offer
Base contract rates start at $18/hour and increase for specialized subjects. You’ll also earn more with the same student over multiple sessions—up to $40/hour. Get paid up to twice per week for tutoring sessions you conduct and invoice. Set your own hours and tutor as much as you’d like. Tutor remotely using our Live Learning Platform—no commuting required. Get matched with students best-suited to your teaching style and expertise. AI-powered Tutor Copilot enhances sessions with real-time instructional support, lesson generation, and engagement features to save prep time. We handle the logistics—you invoice for sessions and we handle payments. What We Look For In a Tutor
Strong communication skills and a friendly, engaging teaching style. Expertise in Finance and the ability to explain concepts clearly. Ability to personalize lessons and adapt to different learning styles. Priority given to those with tutoring or teaching experience and graduate-level education. Ways To Connect With Students
