Reporting to the Director, Corporate Accounting, the Manager, Corporate Accounting role is responsible for delivering accounting best practices for our Corporate Accounting team, including: driving a successful month-end close process, overseeing the preparation of reliable balance sheet reconciliations, coordinating requests sent to the Corporate Accounting team, and providing support for audit deliverables & other projects as needed. Responsibilities of this role include: Support, develop and manage a team of accounting professionals (includes goals setting, career pathing, training and work-life balance measures) to drive positive team performance and outcomes. Accountable to lead, deliver, and continuously improve the monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial statement close processes, partnering with the SEC Reporting team and others to ensure the timely and accurate preparation of consolidated and subsidiary financial statements. Manage and proactively drive the month-end-close cycle, including the review and approval of journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations related to PP&E, Prepaids, Leases, Debt, Intercompany, Payroll, Cash, Intangibles and Accrued Liabilities; maintain the chart of accounts and other master data in Netsuite; supervise flux analysis, audit support and other activities conducted by the Corporate Accounting team; ensure compliance with US GAAP, SOX and KORE’s Finance policies. Assist with the effective and accurate completion of quarterly financial reviews and annual financial audits, including timely and accurate responses to information requests from external auditors. Partner with your leader and Internal Audit to provide SOX reviews and actions, including documentation and further remediation work on processes to meet SOX compliance standards. Effectively support, in partnership with your leader and peers from other teams, on all other projects and initiatives to ensure the Finance department can successfully deliver on their objectives. Skills, Qualifications and Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in accounting with an active CPA license is required. Minimum 4 years of progressive accounting and leadership experience with Big 6 audit experience in a global, complex environment. Strong working knowledge of US GAAP and familiarity with working in compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) controls. Prefer prior experience with Oracle NetSuite (or similar) and Blackline applications. Experience in the Managed Service Provider / Network Managed Service Provider / Wireless Telecom industries would be an asset. Demonstrated business acumen, change influencer, and resilience driven to deliver in fast-paced environments. Solutions-oriented, with a roll-up-sleeves attitude to new opportunities and continuous improvements. Excellent ability to summarize and present complex financial data in an organized, concise manner to effectively engage non-financial stakeholders.
