Senior Patient Services Specialist - Plastic Surgery
The Senior Patient Services Specialist provides support and clinic coordination of multiple patient care services as well as patient orientation for the Swedish Medical Center on multiple campuses, exercising independence in the planning and accomplishment of a wide spectrum of clerical duties. Coursework/Training - Successful completion of Oncology administrative training within six months Medical Terminology Certification or successful completion of a Medical Terminology course within 6 months of hire 1 year of experience in a healthcare setting preferred (i.e. physician’s office, scheduler, etc.) Experienced in obtaining insurance verifications, referrals and authorizations Preferred Qualifications
Associate's Degree - Emphasis in Healthcare or Associate Degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school with emphasis in healthcare 1 year of experience in scheduling patients Why Join Providence Swedish?
