FTS Inc is partnering with our client in Washington, D.C., who is searching for a Lease Administrator/Accountant to join their team. This is an in-office, direct-hire opportunity in Washington, D.C. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field required. 2+ years of experience in lease administration, property accounting, or real estate finance required. Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with real estate/accounting software preferred. High attention to detail with excellent organizational and communication skills. Ability to manage multiple leases and deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities

Maintain accurate lease records in the accounting system, updating agreements and amendments as needed. Prepare monthly rent schedules, tenant billings, and lease-related charges, ensuring timely and accurate postings. Handle CAM (common area maintenance) reconciliations, tax escalations, and other expense allocations tied to lease agreements. Assist with accounting functions such as journal entries, reconciliations, and lease-related month-end close activities. Provide audit support by gathering and submitting lease and financial documentation. Partner with property managers, accounting teams, and tenants to resolve billing or lease discrepancies. Generate regular reports on lease payments, obligations, and overall portfolio status. Referrals increase your chances of interviewing at FTS, Inc. by 2x
