Analysts in the Investment Banking group at Stout are actively involved in the day-to-day transaction execution of middle-market mergers and acquisitions, capital raises, and special situation mandates. Analysts play integral roles in deal teams and are critical to the successful execution of all live deals and prospective assignments. Stout is committed to providing Analysts with invaluable transaction experience across a number of product areas and industry groups with an emphasis on career development through a collaborative working environment.

Responsibilities
Develop detailed financial models (e.g., three statement operating models) Coordinate and perform business due diligence on clients and prospects Identify potential strategic and financial buyers for sell-side transactions, and possible lenders for capital raise Conduct comprehensive valuation exercises of companies and business units Build relationships and maintain direct contact with clients, prospective clients, buyers, lenders, and other stakeholders
Requirements
At least 1 year of relevant experience in investment banking, private equity, or financial analysis Exceptional academic credentials from a top-tier university Highly proficient in Excel, Microsoft Office, Word, & PowerPoint Ability to think critically and must possess excellent written and oral communications skills Strong transaction process orientation Highly proficient financial analysis and modeling skills with an emphasis on attention to detail Self-starter willing to work in an entrepreneurial, demanding, and fast-paced environment Ability to work collaboratively as part of intimate deal teams
