Job Description

Thermo Fisher Scientific Inc. seeks a Material Handler II in Carlsbad for a key role in supply chain processes.

Responsibilities

Receive intercompany transfers with precision, ensuring accurate SKU, lot, and quantity.

Complete putaways in four different temperature zones, verifying SKU, lot, quantity, and zone.

Perform moves within our facility, maintaining strict adherence to our outstanding standards.

Collaborate with team members to ensure world-class operational efficiency.

Obtain PIT certification, Forklifts and Man-up

Accurately handle inbound purchase orders in accordance to the SOP, ensuring proper documentation such as Certificates of Analysis and correct expiration dates.

Process intercompany receipts and create shipment paperwork using WMS.

Perform basic inventory functions, including receipts, put-aways in four different temperature zones, verifying SKU, lot, quantity, and zone., returns to stock (RTS), and inventory management.

Requirements

Proven experience in material handling or a related field.

Ability to work in varying temperature environments.

Strong attention to detail and outstanding organizational skills.

Ability to collaborate and communicate effectively with colleagues

Comprehend and meet same-day delivery requirements as needed by the business

Follow Distribution Work Instructions (WINs) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) consistently.

Use the First Report system to document hazardous identifications (haz ids) and any safety-related incidents or concerns.

Compensation and Benefits

The hourly pay range estimated for this position based in California is $15.85-$23.77.
