Location: This is a remote role but you must be willing to travel across the DACH region, the UK, and other countries in continental Europe based on customer requirements.

Responsibilities

Customer collaboration: Collaborate with account teams and customers to develop innovative solutions that address real-world challenges and deliver tangible value. Travel to customer sites to build relationships, run engagements, and deliver presentations and workshops.

Solution discovery and design: Lead technical and solution discovery workstreams, assess customer needs, define scope and success criteria, and articulate the value proposition of Neptune's platform and solutions.

Customer engagement delivery: Develop and deliver presentations, demos, proofs-of-value, and discovery workshops tailored to customer needs and personas.

Consultative partnership: Act as a trusted advisor guiding customers through digital transformation journeys and providing guidance on solution implementation and optimisation.

Technical expertise: Build and maintain deep subject-matter expertise across Neptune’s platform and solutions, staying updated on features and capabilities.

Sales enablement: Create high-quality documentation, presentations, and resources to support sales efforts and empower go-to-market teams.

Customer advocacy: Gather customer feedback and collaborate with product and engineering teams to drive innovation.

Evangelism and thought leadership: Represent Neptune at marketing events, engage with developer communities, and deliver training and enablement sessions to partners and customers.

What you’ll bring to Neptune

Strong technical foundation:

Ability to explain complex technical topics to non-technical audiences clearly and engagingly.

SAP Knowledge:

Background or working knowledge of SAP; practical experience with SAP applications is desirable.

Technical acumen:

Understanding of process improvement, integrations, automation, and UI/UX.

Solution-oriented mindset:

Focus on creative solutions that address customer needs and deliver value.

Value articulation:

Ability to translate technical features into tangible business benefits.

Compelling communication:

Strong storytelling, presentations, demos, and consultative skills.

Collaboration and relationships:

Build trust and work well with customers and internal teams.

Proactive and results-driven:

Take initiative and consistently deliver high-quality results.

Platform expertise:

Solid understanding of Neptune’s platform or ability to rapidly acquire knowledge.

Continuous learning:

Commitment to staying current with industry trends and technology.

Sales methodologies:

Foundational knowledge of MEDDPPIC, or value-based selling, or command of the message is a plus.
