Senior Appian Consultant / Technical Lead
Groundswell is seeking a Senior Appian Consultant / Technical Lead to provide integrated architecture support for delivery teams and act as a trusted advisor to clients. This role focuses on designing and integrating Appian solutions into client architectures, mentoring delivery teams, and implementing efficient internal processes. What You'll Do
Lead implementation teams through complex technical solutions with Appian and tangential technologies Support design, development, and test activities Guide clients on architecture design, configuration management, DevSecOps, and other program initiatives to drive technical success Ensure solutions are built for scale and performance Create and document implementation best practices and knowledge base articles for internal enablement Provide thought leadership on process improvement Support internal solutions, infrastructure, and tools Mentorship, training, and enablement of resources Who You’ll Be Collaborating With
Our Appian practice is led by Appian alumni with extensive experience delivering mission-critical Appian solutions at scale. You’ll work with a diverse, enthusiastic, multi-disciplinary team. Required Qualifications
3+ years of experience with Appian solutions 5+ years of related IT experience Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent) or higher in Computer Science, Information Systems, Systems Engineering, or related area Active Appian Senior or Lead Certification Strong experience with Appian delivery using an Agile methodology Strong technical design and implementation and problem-solving skills Strong communication skills; ability to convey complex concepts clearly (verbal and written); analytical and strategic foresight Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, multi-tasking, and both independent and team collaboration Hybrid position (on-site McLean VA / remote) U.S. Citizenship required (no dual citizenship) Active Clearance or ability to be clearable Experience Working In the Following Technologies
Appian RDBMS (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL/MariaDB) Web services, Integrations and Middleware (e.g., RESTful/SOAP, Mule/IIB/Fusion) Experience Working In The Following Areas Is A Plus
Cloud Computing/IaaS (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) Authentication (e.g., SAML, Kerberos, OAuth, LDAP) Data management and data visualization/BI DevSecOps and/or Configuration Management Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence Why You’ll Love Working Here
